Collectively, the 2010 ChaMpions are implementing over 40 projects and their 5 year savings is anticipated to be over $2.4 million.

This breaks down to an expected annual reduction of at least 10,600 metric tons of CO2 emissions, which were obtained by:

• reducing gasoline usage by 52,000 gallons
• water by 160,000 gallons
• natural gas by 415,600 therms
• electricity by 7.9 million kWh (6 million from renewable energy)
  

Collectively, the 2009 ChaMpions are implementing 35 projects and their 5 year savings is anticipated to be over $1 million. 

This breaks down to an expected annual reduction of at least 2,800 metric tons of CO2 emissions, which were obtained by:

• reducing gasoline usage by 833 gallons
• water by 28,000 gallons
• natural gas by 63,000 therms
