Take advantage of Madison's free Solar
Consultant!
Thinking of installing solar electric or solar hot water but don’t know how to proceed? Then take advantage of MadiSUN, an initiative to double Madison’s use of solar energy by 2010. It
provides Madison
residents with a free solar consultant! This program is made possible by a grant
the City received from the U.S. Department of Energy through the Solar America Cities Program.
The solar consultant
will evaluate your home and guide you through the process of choosing,
purchasing and installing your own solar system. To begin this exciting and
energy saving process call (608) 243-0586 or e-mail solar@cityofmadison.com.
Once you have a PV solar system, you can become a Clean Power Partner and sell your unused energy back to MGE
for $0.25 per kWh.
